What we do
We fund the hospitals that can’t fund themselves.
TeamBirth is implemented by Unravel Healthcare. It’s quickly becoming the standard of care for perinatal care delivery. Unravel Healthcare Alliance identifies perinatal units that want TeamBirth but don’t yet have the resources for it, then connects them with funding.
Implementation follows a rigorous process refined over years of work in hospitals nationwide. Unravel Healthcare stays engaged with each unit for well over a year to ensure a sustainable implementation. Afterward, we bring the outcome data from every sponsored site back to the funders who made it possible.
The model
Two tools, one shared plan for every birth.
TeamBirth centers on two simple tools: a shared planning board in the room and a short team huddle at every decision point. Together, they keep the person giving birth and their care team working from the same plan.
There’s no new technology to learn and no new staffing model to adopt. The result is a reliable way to make sure nobody’s voice, especially the patient’s, gets lost.
